SUMMARY:Pre-Primary Competition : "Own the Mic"
DESCRIPTION:ESSENCE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL\nPre-Primary Competition : “Own the Mic” \nDate: 25 February\, 2026 \nVenue: Kala Kaushalya Kendram (School Auditorium) \nParticipants: Nursery\, KG-1\, and KG-2 \nThe “Own the Mic” competition was held to provide our youngest learners with a platform to build confidence\, enhance their oratory skills\, and express their creativity. The event was a vibrant display of talent\, where tiny tots took center stage to showcase their unique perspectives through various themes. \nThe event commenced with a warm welcome to our esteemed dignitaries. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude as the school management and staff acknowledged the presence of experts who joined us to encourage our budding stars. \nThe nursery children participated in the Green Basket segment. It was a delight to see the toddlers dressed as various fruits and vegetables. Students identified healthy foods and built basic speaking skills. The children spoke simple lines about the importance of eating greens\, showing remarkable confidence for their very first time on stage. \nOur KG-1 students took us on a journey through the animal kingdom with the theme Fur\, Fins\, and Feathers. They made us understand the bio diversities and animal habitats. From roaring lions to chirping birds and swimming fish\, the students used expressive gestures and props to describe their favourite animals. \nThe senior-most group of the pre-primary section\, KG- 2\, participated in the Storytelling competition. The narrative flow\, expression\, and moral lessons were showcased by our tiny tots. These young narrators captivated the audience with classic folk tales and imaginative original stories. Using voice modulation and dramatic pauses\, they proved that age is no bar to being a compelling storyteller. \nThe “Own the Mic” competition was a resounding success. It was more than just a contest; it was a celebration of the growth and spirit of our pre-primary students. Every participant left the stage with a smile\, having conquered the “mic” and gained a little more courage. \nNursery\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nKG – I\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nKG – II\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nWinners of Own the Mic Competition\nNursery\n\n\nHurdya Kakade\n\n\nShourya Bhoyar\n\n\nSwayam Thorane\n\n\n\nKG – I\n\n\nRuvee Girey\n\n\nAyank Patil\n\n\nTrisha Pawse\n\n\n\nKG – II\n\n\nDhritik Rakesh\n\n\nOjas Kanade\n\n\nTejomai Chavhan
