The objective of a book review activity is to move beyond a simple summary and engage in a critical evaluation of a work. To provide an honest opinion that helps others decide if the book is suitable for them. To analyze the author’s arguments, themes, and writing style rather than just retelling the plot. The activity Improved Reading Competency, Students become more active readers, moving away from skimming to identifying key evidence and motifs. Writing reviews helps students to expand vocabulary and improves the ability to express complex opinions clearly.
