The students of Essence International School delivered an outstanding performance at the Narayana Vidyalayam Model United Nations (MUN) 2026, held on 29th and 30th August 2026. The two-day event gathered young delegates from several schools to engage in rigorous debates, strategic negotiations, and committee discussions.
Led by Head Delegate Ms. Ojjasi Adya and mentored by teacher-in-charges Ms. Gunjan Rana and Ms. Snigdha Adya, the delegation demonstrated thorough research, eloquence, and diplomatic finesse across various crisis and conventional committees. Safe and punctual transit throughout the conference was coordinated smoothly by Transport Manager Mr. Kamlesh Chaturvedi and Driver Mr. Shyam Taywade.
The delegation secured numerous awards across categories. Best Delegate honors were awarded to Yuga More (UNHRC), Abhay Kubde (IPL 2.0), and Harsh Jadhav (IPL 2.0).Ms. Yashika Khandelwal received High Commendation in UNHRC, while Mst. Agam Kubde and Mst. Madhur Bhandekar won Special Mentions. Verbal Mentions were secured by Ms. Bhavika Karale and Mst. Prathamesh Girnule (Mahabharata Committee), Mst. Parth Deoras and Mst. Raunak Gajbhiye (IPL 1.0), Soham Sarkar, Daksh Deshmukh, and Satvik Singh (FIFA), Bhavi Mundhada (Starkon), Adya Potdar (Agartha Civilization), and Anushka Ray (ECOSOC).
School Directors Mr. Vijay Menon and Dr. Mrs. Hema Menon commended the delegation for their victory and praised the teachers for their dedicated guidance. Principal Mrs. Beena Menon, Quality Coordinator Mrs. Jayshri Sastri, Vice-Principals Mrs. Arpana Wilson and Mrs. Shashi Prabha Suryavanshi, and Academic Head Mrs. Zanisha Raja also celebrated the delegates’ success, applauding the students for bringing laurels to the institution and inspiring future MUN endeavours.
