An Orientation Programme for parents of students from Nursery to Class X was successfully conducted on 4th July 2026 at Essence International School, Nagpur. The programme aimed to familiarize parents with the school’s vision, academic plans, teaching methodologies, and the latest updates for the new academic session.

A separate orientation programme was also organized in the school auditorium, “Kala Kaushalya,” exclusively for the parents of Class I in the gracious presence of Principal Mrs. Beena Menon and Quality Coordinator Mrs. Jayshree Sastri. The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by the Principal’s address. The Principal shared the school’s vision of providing quality education while nurturing students’ overall personality, values, and life skills. Parents were encouraged to actively collaborate with the school in creating a supportive learning environment and contributing to the holistic development of their children.

The teachers presented informative PowerPoint presentations explaining the academic curriculum, classroom practices, subject-wise expectations, assessment methods, and the assessment schedule for the academic session. The presentations also highlighted the latest CBSE initiatives, including the introduction of Kaushal Bodh and Kaushal Vikas, which aim to promote skill-based, experiential, and activity-oriented learning while nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and practical life skills among students. Parents were also introduced to the integration of Computational Thinking into the curriculum, enabling students to develop logical reasoning,problem-solving, and analytical skills from an early age.Our heartfelt gratitude to our Directors, Mr. Vijay Menon and Dr. Hema Menon, for their visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to providing world-class infrastructure and exceptional support for holistic education.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where parents’ queries were addressed by the teachers . The Orientation Programme provided to be highly informative and strengthened the bond between the school and parents, ensuring a positive and successful beginning to the academic year 2026–27.
