NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2026

Essence International School celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2026 with great enthusiasm, commemorating the discovery of the Raman Effect by the eminent scientist C. V. Raman. On this occasion, a Science Exhibition was organized to promote scientific awareness, creativity, and collaborative learning among students.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by the honourable Director Mr. Vijay Menon, Principal Mrs. Beena Menon , and the Quality Coordinator Mrs. Jayshri Sastri , marking the beginning of an enriching and interactive learning experience. A special highlight of the event was the collaborative effort of students from Classes VIII and IX, who, over a period of 15 days, guided and supported students of KGII , Class I, and Class II in preparing their science models. This initiative promoted teamwork, leadership, and peer learning among students.

Students showcased a variety of creative and informative models based on their EVS and science concepts. Some of the key models included Day and Night, Water Cycle, Solar System, Rainwater Harvesting, Electric Circuit, Volcano Eruption, and Water Purifier, along with many other innovative working and non-working models.

Students from KG II to Class VII actively participated in the Science Exhibition and showcased a wide variety of models. They displayed great enthusiasm and confidence while explaining their projects. The exhibition witnessed an overwhelming response, as parents and visitors keenly observed and appreciated the students’ efforts and innovative ideas.

 

The exhibition provided a wonderful platform for experiential learning, enhancing students’ confidence, creativity, and scientific thinking. It also encouraged them to apply their knowledge to real-life situations. The exhibition not only showcased talent but also ignited young minds to think beyond textbooks. It inspired students to become future innovators and responsible contributors to society.
